A Behaviour Consultant helps people build skills, understand emotions, and navigate daily life with more confidence and ease. I focus on strengths, self-determination, emotional regulation, and practical tools that fit a person’s real world. My work includes home, school, community, and virtual support depending on the needs of each client and family.
-
I support individuals from 18 months into their twenties. My approach shifts based on developmental stage, identity, goals, and context - from play-based learning for younger clients to independence, executive functioning, and life skills for teens and young adults.
-
It means I don’t aim to change someone’s personality or identity. Instead, I focus on understanding the individual, supporting their nervous system, building environments where they can thrive, and work on goals that are meaningful to the client. Strengths, autonomy, consent, assent, and dignity come first.
-
The consult is a chance for us to learn about each other. You can share your goals or concerns, ask questions, and get a sense of my approach. I’ll explain my services, give preliminary thoughts on fit, and can help you determine whether working with me feels right.
-
For younger clients, learning happens through play, daily routines, and moments that feel natural and comfortable. Instead of structured “table time,” we join in their interests and expand skills through meaningful interactions, shared joy, and real-life opportunities.
-
No. While many of my clients are autistic or have ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia, or other neurodivergent profiles, I also support individuals who simply need help with emotional regulation, executive functioning, independence, or school success.
-
Very involved. Caregiver collaboration is central to my work. You know your loved one best, and your insight is essential. I also offer family and sibling coaching to help strengthen routines, communication, and relationships at home.
-
Sessions for older clients are collaborative and interest-driven. We work on independence, identity, emotional regulation, executive functioning, social relationships, communication, life skills, school or work readiness, and navigating adulthood with confidence.
-
Yes. My work incorporates trauma-informed principles, which means safety, trust, consent and assent, empowerment, and choice are always prioritized. No one is pushed beyond what they’re comfortable with, and all learning happens at a pace that feels safe and respectful.
-
No. Behaviour Consultants do not diagnose. But I can help families understand next steps, navigate the diagnostic process, collaborate with other professionals, and support a person before and after diagnosis.
-
Absolutely. I collaborate with teachers, EAs, learning support staff, school counsellors, and administrators to create consistent plans that support the learner across environments. I have worked as a contracted BCBA with many independent schools across Lower Mainland in BC.

Simply reach out through the contact form. I’ll respond within a few business days, and we’ll set up a free 30-minute consult to explore fit and next steps.
-
I accept Autism Funding (through AFU) for eligible clients and private payment for all services. Families can use a mix of both depending on their situation.
